How to care for cordura

Products made with CORDURA® fabrics are made to last, and are generally easy to care for.

Cordura Care

When CORDURA® Gets Wet:

Cordura is water resistant, non-porous, and water beads up and rolls off.

When CORDURA® gets dry:

Hand wash with a very mild and gentle soap. Rinse well, do not use fabric softeners or conditioners.

When CORDURA® fabrics gets dirty:

  • Upholstery/Backpacks/Luggage: Soil may be removed with spray cleaner or detergent and water. Avoid chlorine or bleach based cleansers.
  • Oil or grease should first be treated with a dry cleaning solvent followed by a spray cleaner or detergent and water. Avoid chlorine or bleach based cleansers.

Caution! Please be careful when washing Cordura when there is other material such as Leather with it.
